The service, beginning at 1 p.m., featured music from the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood performed “Imagine.” The program, aligned with Rosalynn’s wishes, included specific songs, scriptures, and speakers.

Personal anecdotes were shared by the Carters’ personal pastor, and readings were done by some of the former first lady’s children and grandchildren. Journalist Judy Woodruff paid tribute, highlighting Rosalynn’s role as more than a warm host but a close and trusted adviser.

Following Rosalynn Carter’s passing, the Bidens acknowledged the couple’s great integrity, stating, “First Lady Rosalynn Carter walked her own path, inspiring a nation and the world along the way.”
